Puppy Package Manager

This utility enables you to install or uninstall files from the Puppy Linux repository, these are files with .pet extension. It may also be used to install or uninstall PET files that are not bundled with the Puppy Linux operating system. Using the Puppy Package Manager to install PET files is optional. Any PET file can automatically be installed by clicking on the file name in ROX-Filer.

Note: The Puppy Linux repository contains Official Puppy Linux files that are bundled with the operating system.
Note: The majority of PET files are created by and available at users web sites.

Menu Location

For 5.x

Go to Menu > Setup > Setup Puppy > Puppy Package Manager

For 4.3.1 and earlier

Go to Menu > Setup > Puppy Package Manager
