Submissions of any kind to www.puppylinuxfaq.org also known as Puppy Linux FAQ become the copyrighted property of Gerard Carroll. Your submission of any writings, FAQ, suggestions, articles, comments, translations or content of any kind whatsoever constitutes your complete and full accepted of this condition and that by submitting content of any kind you relinquish and transfer all ownership and copyrights of said submissions to Gerard Carroll. You further understand and agree that there is no guarantee that I will publish any submitted articles or translations.

FAQ Suggestions

To suggest an idea for a new FAQ click the link titled Add FAQ at the top of any page. If appropriate I will review and compose an article addressing your suggestion. I recommend you compose your suggestion in a word processor and not in the WYSIWYG form. Reason being is if you fail to enter the correct "captcha" letters when you submit your suggestion you will have to return to the form and re-enter your proposal.

Article Translations

After I review and publish translations a new option will appear on the page where you submitted it. This new option will display a dropdown where visitors may select the language of the translation. Note that translations may also be viewed by first selecting a language from the dropdown list on the left side of any page on this site. If any translations in the selected language exist they will be listed on the right side of the home page.

I would like those who submit translations to check back often as I am constantly improving articles and I would appreciate your participation in keeping translations current.

Comments

To make a comment click the link titled “You can comment this FAQ” which appears at the bottom of every page. Please note that your munged email address will be visible by clicking the name you gave when you posted your comment. Example of munged email address visible to the public: your-email-address_AT_your-provider_DOT_com

Do not ask questions in comments. Use the Ask question link at the top of any page on this site.

Questions

All questions are handled solely by the site administrator, the public does not participate in this process. To receive a reply you must provide a working email address with your question.

The Ask question form can accommodate questions of any length.

Please provide all pertinent details about:

• Problem experienced
• Steps taken to remedy problem
• Desired outcome of solution
• Puppy Linux version number (if applicable to problem)
• Problem application (if applicable to problem)
• Computer specifications (model number, processor, RAM) (if applicable to problem)
• Peripheral specifications (model number) (if applicable to problem)
