Desktop Switcher

Puppy Linux has two desktops that run simultaneously. On left side of desktop taskbar are two colored square areas, each is a miniature view of one desktop, these two areas are the desktop switcher. The area on the left represents desktop number one and the area on the right represents desktop number two. You can open files or applications in one or both of these desktops.

Switch Desktops

Click either colored area in the desktop switcher to view and use that desktop.

Alternatively you may place the cursor on any open area of the desktop and roll mouse wheel either towards or away from you.

Drag Application From One Desktop To Another

Place cursor on desktop switcher where an application is open. Hold down right mouse button then drag from one side of desktop switcher to the other.

Note: If application window(s) are minimized drag and drop will not work.
